Beginning this year, Hoggetowne Middle School has adopted a style of block scheduling that allows classes to meet for longer periods that meet in alternating days.

*A note about Fridays: Florida law states that there must be 90 minutes per day of uninterrupted reading for students who score below a certain level on their standardized reading test. In order to accommodate these students, the schedule on Fridays weaves the Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday schedules to ensure 90 minutes of reading can happen uninterrupted.
